Sydney Hwang, Tess Rounds, Azalea Segura-Mora, Kalinda Reynolds, Angie Gushue, Alyssa Cantrell and Sarah Ayala helped Claremont capture its second straight Division 2 girls championship with a 69-100 victory over Saugus at the CIF State Cross Country Finals at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Claremont secured its first trip to Nike Cross Nationals after earning one of four national at-large bids to compete Dec. 2 at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Ore.
